Your finger size differs during the day. When you get out of bed each morning, your finger might have swollen when asleep, can shrink nearly half a size in the cold and often will widen when the weather is warmer and also after some activity. It is wise to find out your finger size at room temperature during the day. At that time, you will want the ring to fit flawlessly.

Comfort Fit vs. Standard Fit

All of our tungsten wedding bands and rings are comfort fit. Which means that the ring is rounded on the inside the place that touches your skin. This enables the ring to slide on and off your ring finger with less difficulty. The main advantages of Comfort Fit is the ring slides over the knuckle much easier and the ring creates less friction because it covers less surface of the skin. Standard fit means the ring is exactly the same size all through the inside of the ring. When you use our ring sizer, you might find there are 2 or 3 sizes which fit on your finger. Pick the size fitting most accurately with out feeling loose.

Figuring Out Your Comfort Fit Size

An effective way of figuring out your Comfort Fit size is to initially find out your Standard Fit size at a local jeweler, and after that order a half size smaller.  For instance, if you are sized for a Standard Fit size 9.0 by the local jeweler, you’ll want to order a Comfort Fit size 8.5. This is only a general guideline rather than an exact science. Ring measurements are a little like shoe sizes and fluctuate slightly from manufacturer to manufacturer.
